13 Purple Nebula Images

tl;dr: People love images of nebula or nebulae and can’t seem to get enough of it. So much so, that I’ve created a second site completely dedicated to imagery of nebulae; NebulaImages.com.

Scroll down and you’ll see some of the most beautiful images of Purple Nebula you’ve ever seen.

Alright, so this post is by popular demand, my first post featuring 20 Blue Nebula Images was surprisingly so successful that I’ve been asked many times to do a follow-up. I think this will likely turn into a series, but for now, here is the sequel to the 20 Blue Nebula Images; staring the royal color of purple.

As you may or may not know, nebula are simple massively large collections of gas and dust, along with some trace amount of other particles. For the most part, we can’t even observe these clusters of radiation without enhancing the images.

A lot of people say that these images are “fake” because they “aren’t real”, but the contrary. These images are actual objects, simply enhanced so we can observe them in the range of the light spectrum that we can observe.

Why 13 Purple Nebulae Images?

Well, last post I gave my reason and a handful of people commented and told me they dug what I had to so. So, for this round of images, I chose 13 because it’s my lucky number and the color purple because Royals and Pharaohs wore this color; one of whom my son is named after.

And after all, this series is dedicated to him, my little 2-year-old who knows the entire Solar System by name.

So on with it, here are the most stunning 13 Purple Nebula Images you’ll ever see (ok, that’s a slight exaggeration).

I would like to use one of your amazing photos on my skateboards for my company, is it possible if I can? I will give you full credit for the design.

I would like to use one of your amazing photos on my skateboards for my company, is it possible if I can? I will give you full credit for the design. These images are perfect for my skateboards because they are long, and have great quality. I’ve been looking for designs and haven’t come across images as good as yours. Please get back to me, thanks.

      • Hey Fabian, the majority of the imagery used on my site is taken from NASA. The imagery NASA takes and provides are public domain, meaning you can use them in most situations. I would double check the terms NASA has for each of the images you’re interested in and go from there. That’s a really cool idea for skateboards, though. Once you get those made, you need to send me pics, I’d love to see them!
